ECTC was established in 1985 as an agent of global companies in the automotive industry.  Its operations include the importation and distribution of components and spare parts of commercial vehicles including trucks, buses, trailers, cars, planes, boats, and industrial machines in Egypt, Libya, and Sudan.  ECTC also invests in real estate, owns several buildings in strategical locations in Cairo such as Heliopolis, Zamalek, and Mohandiseen.  ECTC also invests in land.
